The long-awaited launch of the stylish new Mercedes C-class conjured up magical scenes at Rivervale, the Brighton Mercedes dealership.
More than 400 people turned out for the arrival of the next-generation model during the unveiling at the firm's showrooms in Victoria Road, Portslade.
A magician and live music were among the acts pulled out of the hat by the company to entertain visitors throughout the day.
The C-class is already being predicted a sales success following a constant stream of orders from eager customers.
Jeffrey Nailard, sales director at Rivervale of Brighton, said: "We could not have hoped for a better C-class launch.
"It was fantastic."
