The latest style in modern living has arrived in Brighton.
Former lecture rooms and workshops in Finsbury Road, once used by the University of Brighton, have been converted into highly fashionable living spaces.
The Brighton Loft Company is the brainchild of property developer Chris Creswell.
Top designer Tara Bernerd, of YooToo, was engaged for the project, known as Hanover Lofts, along with her business partner John Hitchcox.
The building has 23 lofts from 800 to 1,400sq ft priced in the £156,000 to £265,000 range.
Mr Cresswell said: "This is just the sort of project I've been wanting to get my hands on.
"Working with Tara and John has created something really unique.
"It is about a way of life - a simple space with a subtle injection of creams, olive and tobacco shades.
"John has brought his trademark of mezzanine floors and the use of natural daylight to the development."
Tara, who was in Brighton for the official opening yesterday, said: "Working in Brighton was really exciting.
"The town has great energy and it's a terrific building."
The apartments are being sold through Carrington Estates in Brighton.
