How I agree with Adam Trimingham. I am fed up of reading the moans of pensioners bleating about their supposedly meagre pensions. They seem to think they have a God-given right to live in luxury at the expense of everyone else.

I am grateful I had a pension when I reached 65. It relieved me of the worry of where my wage would come from. It's in the bank every month and since 1999, thanks to Gordon Brown's budget, I do not have to pay tax on my pensions or savings.

Good on you, Adam. This is one pensioner who has never had it so good and am grateful to be in this position.
