Adam Trimingham's column should be renamed the Whinge of Sussex, for that is all he seems to do.
I disagree with most of what he said about pensioners but he is entitled to his opinion. What really prompted me to write was the fact he seemed pleased that one of his neighbours died before he could collect his pension, thus saving him some money.
I have no doubt Mr Trimingham has made provisions for his retirement but I bet he will be in the queue for his state pension and any extras he can get.
He will probably be first as all the others will be too out of breath from lack of exercise in a fast food restaurant or pub to get there before him.
