Albion goalkeeper Mark Cartwright is a big doubt for Friday night's trip to Hull.
He faces a scan today on an upper thigh injury which prevented him kicking towards the end of Saturday's 2-0 home win against Leyton Orient.
Manager Micky Adams revealed: "It's not looking good. Mark has had a couple of niggles and they are gradually getting worse."
Michel Kuipers is on standby to replace Cartwright.
Adams and new assistant Bob Booker saw Kuipers in a 3-2 Combination win against Oxford Reserves at Woodside Road, Worthing, last night.
Oxford, still reeling from the resignation earlier in the day of watching first team manager Denis Smith, went ahead through Simon Weatherstone in the 19th minute.
Albion wasted a catalogue of chances before Lee Steele struck twice in four minutes in the second half, either side of a Chris Hackett goal for the visitors.
Fit-again Scott Ramsay tapped in the winner on 72 minutes.
Albion Reserves: Kuipers, Davis, Jackson, Crosby, Carr, Johnson, Thomas, Melton, Steele, Ramsay, Brooker. Subs: Wilkinson, Hemsley, Hammond, Virgo (for Jackson 90), McPhee.
