Marc Rice scored twice as Worthing produced a super-charged second half performance to earn a 4-2 Division One victory at Northwood.

This was the hosts' first home defeat in 17 league and cup matches and they finished with nine men following the sendings off of Rene Street and goalkeeper Paul Riordan.

Worthing trailed 2-0 at the break but the introduction of striker Simon Funnell helped spark a fight back.

Northwood's Ian Element and Lawrence Yaku put them ahead but Rebels roared back with three goals in the space of ten minutes. Ben Carrington hit the first on 51 minutes, Rice equalised and then struck again after 61 minutes.

Street and Riordan both went off before Funnell scored the clincher in injury time.

Lewes lost their unbeaten record at Aylesbury as they slipped to a 2-1 defeat in their Ryman League Cup replay.

The home side took the lead after nine minutes when Steve Callinan slid the ball past Florian Ludewig.

Five minutes later Lewes were level when a shot from Chris Dicker was deflected past his own keeper by Scott Honeyball.

A harshly awarded penalty scored by Callinan in the 34th minute gave the match to Aylesbury after Peter Donnelly was adjudged to have been fouled.
