Horsham might get a few moments in the media spotlight as they bid to put the lights out on Wembley tomorrow.

Hornets' trip to the Ryman division two strugglers coincides with England's last-ever run out beneath the Twin Towers.

Wembley's Vale Farm ground is little more than a mile from the hallowed turf and is being used a venue for Radio 5 Live's Early Doors programme.

Club secretary Jean Gumm said: "Apparently they will be leaving here by 1.30 but they wanted to find the alternative Wembley occasion.

"We are pretty close to Wembley Stadium. You can hear the roar of the crowd when the wind blows the right way, although concerts are noisier than football matches."

The former Albion star expects to start on the bench, despite his goalscoring return from a hamstring injury in Tuesday's win at Northwood.
