Last Saturday, a football match day, I was unable to gain access to my drive or park near my house, which is close to Withdean Stadium, because of parked cars blocking the way. The culprits were players from Brighton and Hove Albion, who clearly feel they can park where they like.
Although I reported this and received an apology from the club's safety adviser, one of the cars was left there until around 6 pm that day and the other moved a little way up the road but still in the restricted zone.
The club gives out dire warnings to its fans about the consequences of breaking its own parking rules. I'd be interested to know what it intends to do with the players who are causing these problems.
