An IT company is offering free web design training to the unemployed.
People living in the East Brighton area (BN2 1, BN2 2 and BN2 5) are eligible for the course, which is run by dex.
Classes will take place at the company's premises in New England Street, Brighton, on Thursdays and Fridays for five weeks from November 9.
The free training is part of the town's Government and European-funded URBAN programme to help people out of work broaden their computer skills.
Paul Godden, a trainer at dex, said: "As a result of past training courses, some attendees were offered jobs as web designers in London.
"One student even got a job in the States."
