As a venue for Brighton and Hove Albion's new football stadium, Falmer is too soon, too little, too inconvenient, to inaccessible, too expensive and will be too restrictive.
Success breeds confidence, which in turn encourages investment. It would be bad for the club to start running before it has picked itself up from its last fall. This is a time for the Albion to re-establish itself on the field as well as in the boardroom, not for entrenching itself in costly gambles.
