Albion manager Micky Adams has pledged to avoid complacency as the Seagulls prepare to tackle a stream of strugglers.
Saturday's home game against next-to-bottom Carlisle begins a spell of fixtures against clubs in the lower half of the table.
It provides Adams' thriving side with an ideal opportunity to strengthen their promotion push prior to Christmas.
Rock-bottom Halifax also visit Withdean shortly, along with Lee Steele's old club Shrewsbury and fellow toilers Exeter.
Albion go to Mansfield, another side in the bottom half, next month, while their next away match is at mid-table Macclesfield on Saturday week.
"November is a quiet month for us in terms of League games," Adams said.
"The one thing we cannnot afford to be is complacent.
"I cannot see that happening with the lads, because they know nobody is guaranteed a starting place."
Albion are eager to close the five-point gap on leaders Chesterfield, the only team to have beaten them in the last 13 games.
Steele, the matchwinner at Darlington last Saturday, said: "I would definitely say we are the best team in the Third Division.
"The thought of promotion is spurring us all on.
"As soon as we get back into the dressing room we are looking for the other results.
"Everything is geared towards us getting into the Second Division and hopefully that's what we will achieve."
