Brighton and Hove Council's Local Plan will have a catastrophic effect on anyone who lives or works in Brighton. The effect of the proposals means we won't be able to drive in or out of Brighton and Hove, will be legally forbidden to have cars in some areas and, in many cases, will not be allowed to improve our homes.
What makes the Local Plan even more extraordinary is that the council has provided absolutely no assessment of the impact any of the proposals will have on the economy or people of Brighton. Therefore no one has a clue how effective they will be!
As is becoming normal with this council, the consultation upon which the plan is supposed to be based has been a shambles. Nowhere in the plan is hard data provided on support or otherwise for any of the proposals.
Hopeless proposals, with no idea on how effective they will be and without any widespread support, sums up this Local Plan.
