I note with interest that Andy Winter has received speedy responses from two local Labour MPs.
Good for him. That is, after all, what should only be expected. It does not make up for the fact I have not!
One point I must take issue with however, is the nonsense about me being new to Brighton.
I grew up in Brighton and can assure Mr Winter and anyone else who may be in any doubt that I am a Brightonian through and through.
Although I have representing Brighton Pavilion for only eight months, I have been doing the job long enough to have met a lot of people from a large number of organisations, who say they rarely see MP David Lepper.
As many Conservative colleagues at Westminster also say they never see him in Parliament, it is quite reasonable to ask whether taxpayers get value for for the £48,371 a year salary Mr Lepper is paid.
