Why do we insist on blindly following the so-called latest technology without question when it comes to burning our rubbish?

I haven't noticed the age of enlightenment reaching big business and vested interests yet.

So now it's up to the environmentalists to prove incinerators are bad. So far, there is absolutely no evidence to prove incinerators are safe, yet we are told they are the best option for the area.

So while Brighton and Hove Council wears blindfolds and ear muffs against the truth, the rest of us must go and buy respirators to preserve our health.
