What great news to become a city. I was born in Brighton, have lived here all my life and think it a great place to be. There is so much to do, whatever the weather.
So, now we have been honoured with the title "city", how about doing something about the terrible-looking shopfronts and flats along London Road opposite St Peter's Church? They are disgusting and should all be pulled down and rebuilt.
Also, it's about time people in higher places pulled out their fingers and arranged funding or charity events to get the funds together to renovate St Peter's Church. It is such a lovely building and every day it's falling apart more.
