Giles Velvick didn't so much win the Sussex PGU 2000 Mastercolour League but, with a lead of 18 points, he virtually ran away with the title.
The 28-year-old head pro at Horam Park crowned a season notable for consistency under pressure.
Final event counting for Mastercolour points was the Christmas Fare at Royal Eastbourne.
With 37 points, Horam Park made it a double as pro Alan Tyson and amateur Barry Gittoes took the premier award in this Clive Cockayne and Ian Cleveland sponsored goodie.
Leading scores: Alan Tyson and Barry Gittoes (Horam Park) 37 points;
2, Tony Welton and Tony Watkins (Royal Eastbourne) 36 on countback from Mark Root and Ian McRobbie (Effingham Park).
