Thousands of New Year's Eve revellers will be able to travel home by bus from the Brighton and Hove's city centre party.
About 50,000 people are expected to take part in festivities planned for the Old Steine area.
Roger French, Brighton and Hove Buses' managing director, said a terminal would be set up in Gloucester Place, just north of Old Steine.
More than 20 buses will run to all areas of Brighton and Hove after midnight until about 3am.
Mr French said: "Our late night buses on New Year's Eve have proved very popular in previous years and we are pleased to be able to provide this service to the community.
"Last year more than 4,000 people were carried on the special buses after midnight and we are looking forward to carrying even more this year."
A flat fare of £3 will apply on all journeys after midnight. People will also be able to buy special Saver tickets during New Year's Eve which will cover the journey into Brighton and back home.
Mr French said: "We believe this offers good value for money especially compared with the cost of a taxi and it also avoids the need to drive on this special night."
During the day on New Year's Eve there will be a Sunday service but this will be changed into a Saturday timetable from 7pm to cater for people making their way into the city centre.
Details are available on a web site at www.buses.co.uk or in a leaflet available from the bus company.
