Clearly Simon Battle is the "loony" in town with his poisonous attacks on the Campaign for a Better Brighton and Hove.
Calling decent, hardworking people "right wing" just because they have views opposed to his own is bizarre.
People I have met at Campaign meetings are of all types and many are what most people would describe as "left wing".
Anyway, putting people into pigeonholes is ridiculous. It makes me very suspicious of Mr Battle's motives.
The leaflet Campaign distributed also criticised the £74,000 (Lynette Gwyn Jones' figure) spent on the Brighton and Hove News.
Perhaps Mr Battle would like to comment on that and the fact that other political parties are not able to get a single word published in it. Is that what Mr Battle was referring to when he spoke of "propaganda"?
As to Mr Battle calling me a crony, perhaps he would ponder that I earn a living driving a taxi. Tell us all how you make your living, Mr Battle.
