Congratulations to the team that helped make Brighton and Hove a city. This will make the new city become a bigger tourist attraction - but where will these people park their cars?
The parking in the city is diabolical. There are double-parked cars all over the place and Kings Road is a disaster just waiting to happen. Cars are illegally parked on double yellow lines, on road crossings, zig zags and even in bus stops.
Something needs to be done - and soon. Why can't the large car parks reduce overnight parking charges? A small charge on car parking in these purpose-built spaces is surely better than nothing. The owners of these parking lots are losing out on a massive amount of business and Brighton and Hove is turning into one huge car park. Not for much longer, one hopes.
