Two police officers were flying to Cuba today to try to discover the identities of the two men whose bodies fell from a plane.
The bodies were found separately within a 16 hour period over Christmas and it is believed the men had been hiding in the wheel carriage of a BA Boeing 777, which arrived at Gatwick from Havana, Cuba, on Christmas Eve.
The first body was found at Broadstone Farm, near Rudgwick, Horsham, on the Surrey and Sussex border at 5.30pm on Christmas Eve. The spot lies under the Gatwick flight path.
The second body fell from the same aircraft on to the runway as the BA plane took off from Gatwick bound for Mexico on Christmas morning.
