I would like to thank all the people who helped me when I had a fall on Thursday, December 28.

I slipped on the ice in West Lane, Lancing, and fell on my back. Various people came to my aid and called an ambulance, which took me to Worthing Hospital.

Someone covered me with a blanket, which they left with me. Should they wish to retrieve it, please contact the Argus through the letters page.

Once again, I did appreciate all the help I received from the public and Worthing Hospital. Luckily, I did not break any bones but it was quite a shock to my system.

-Mrs Muriel Brown, Pemberton Close, Lancing
