May I extend my heartfelt thanks to Sue who walks my dog, the fire service, Irene, the workers in the park and everyone involved who gave assistance in Happy Valley on December 29.
My dog had to be cut free from a bench - she'd tried to reach the bird food and slipped and fell.
Thankfully, Irene was there with her car and mobile phone, and Sue's husband, Joe, carried the dog into the house after the fire brigade freed her.
