May I congratulate the good people of the Goldstone Valley on their success in removing the mobile phone mast from the Engineerium.
It is significant that it took a woman to head the campaign and I note her concern that no more masts should be put up in residential areas until it was finally proven there was no health risk. This is the point I made in my written objection to the proposed mast behind PC World in Old Shoreham Road.
One person is running herself into the ground and making herself ill in a similar campaign since she and her family will find themselves living in the shadow of the monster.
The arrogance of the One-2-One Company claiming here is a need for this mast is breathtaking. How did people manage to communicate before and let each other know that they are on a bus?
Is this not an artificial need which is promoted by extensive advertising by various mobile phone companies?
