Actor Steuart Went has appeared in pantomimes during the last 50 years for the Weald Theatre Group in Haywards Heath.
But he retires tonight after playing his final role as the genie in Aladdin at Clair Hall.
Steuart hasn't been absent from a single panto since 1952. Although he has played only a small part this winter, his colleagues will miss his magic.
