Bognor fought back from 10-0 behind against Hove and romped to a 35-10 victory in London Four South East.
It completed a quickfire double for third-placed Bognor, who beat the same side 22-6 the previous week.
Hove started brightly and got points on the board when flanker Paul Haynes went over and Phil Ward converted. Ward also kicked a penalty. Bognor hit back with a try before the break and accelerated to victory with further scores in the second period.
Bognor's tries came from Jonny Lang, Paul Mitchell, Nigel Mitchell, George Castleton, Des O'Connor, Tom Spurle and Stuart Pearce. There were no conversions.
Ward said: "The second half showed we are just not fit enough."
Eastbourne, a place behind Bognor, recovered from 15-3 down to beat home side Heathfield and Waldron 16-15.
Eastbourne, missing at least nine regulars, went behind as Will Drinkwater scored a breakaway try for the hosts who added two unconverted scores as they drove over following lineouts.
Eastbourne gave debuts to Damien Pastell in the centre and second row Martin Harmer. Harmer and Danny Craven scored tries and John Lord added two penalties.
Eastbourne's Graham Shiret said: "The pitch was very muddy and it didn't suit our style of play. With so many players out for various reasons we were greatly disrupted against a strong Heathfield pack and therefore it was a good result for us."
Both sides missed opportunities with the boot to increase the scoring.
Basement side Chichester lost 19-0 to the new leaders Dartfordians.
Crawley improved on last Saturday's woeful display, but found high-flying Sidcup too strong as they slipped to a 41-7 defeat in London Three South East.
Crawley's points came from a Richard Billings try converted by Phil Howe.
Uckfield's assault on the Sussex division one title continued when they beat neighbours Crowborough 42-5 as Nick Ridley and Darren Nicholls ran riot.
Ridley (3), Nicholls (2), Duncan Hales and Tim Rowland all got tries, Ridley also kicking a conversion and a penalty.
The crunch game for Uckfield comes on March 10 when they meet title rivals Hastings and Bexhill.
