The new hearing service launched at the Hove Polyclinic in Nevill Avenue, Hove, for people with hearing problems (Argus, February 1) is yet another welcome addition to the wide range of excellent health service already provided there.
Congratulations to Brighton Health Care audiology department for setting up the new scheme and to South Downs Health NHS Trust, whose foresight and positive approach provided the Polyclinic facilities.
Patients in Hove and Portslade who find difficulties in travelling to the Royal Sussex County Hospital to use similar facilities will benefit.
Hove Polyclinic is very accessible, with a regular bus service (No 5a) right to the main entrance. Also, ample free car parking is available nearby.
Having campaigned for many years for health service on the Nevill Avenue site it is pleasing to receive such large-scale feedback from patients expressing appreciation for the services and facilities at
the Polyclinic.
