Bird lovers have been flocking to Barcombe for a sight of a lovelorn North American ring-necked duck which has been spotted on a reservoir.

If his quest is unsuccessful, he may have to opt for a common British tufted duck. But as that would produce weaker ducklings, it would be completely quackers.
