Cabbie Mervyn Oakley's number was up when he went to Gala Bingo in Worthing for his regular flutter.
Instead of ending the evening up or down a few pounds, he emerged more than £206,000 richer having won the national bingo game.
As a taxi driver he has had plenty of tips but never one on this scale.
