On Friday February 9 I attended the excellent Model World Show at the Brighton Centre.
I was very annoyed at the incredibly high cost of parking charged at the Russell Road car park - £6.30 for four hours and ten minutes.
I did curtail my stay at the show because I knew parking charges in Brighton are exorbitant, but this is ridiculous!
Living where I do, attendance by public transport is not a practical option and charges like this will discourage visitors to the show.
As a regular at the classical concerts at the Dome, I can get a reduced charge for parking at the NCP Church Road car park - £3.20 from 1pm to 6pm.
Why can't a similar arrangement be made for visitors to the Model Show etc, on the presentation of an entry ticket to the show?
