Worthing ended a run of three successive division one defeats with a 1-1 draw at Uxbridge, but the outcome should have been even better for Sammy Donnelly's much changed team.

Rebels, given the boost of a third-minute lead through Mark Burt, were up against ten men for 76 minutes following the sending off of defender Stuart Bamford for two fouls on Ben Carrington.

But they struggled to make the advantage tell and slack marking allowed Dean Clark to equalise only two minutes after the break.

Worthing, who are now without a win in 13 games and have taken only five points from the last nine, made the perfect start when Burt marked his first full appearance since Boxing Day by heading in a cross from Simon Funnell.

Carrington fired wide after Bamford's early dismissal and Burt and Paul Kennett might both have done better as Worthing created the chances to make the game safe by the interval.

Worthing, without the suspended Danny Smith, Marc Rice and Neil Winter, faded and the side has now gone 13 weeks without a win.

Bognor extended their run to one defeat in 11 games thanks to a last-minute equaliser by David Birmingham in a 2-2 draw at Northwood.

Rocks, with new-signing Craig Stoner replacing John Keeley in goal, fell behind after 54 minutes when a Scott Fitzgerald shot went in off defender David Wright.

Bognor replied within five minutes when John Mulhern found Michael Birmingham, who crossed for Adie Miles to finish at the far post.

But slack marking allowed Andy Cook to flick on a corner for Gary Williams to put the hosts ahead again in the 70th minute.

But Rocks deserved their equaliser as Miles Rutherford and Nicky Wyatt combined for Birmingham to score.
