One Brighton and Hove, the charity which encourages businesses to undertake work on behalf of the community, has launched its calendar for the current few months.
After the success of its employee volunteering campaign last autumn, where more than 350 people successfully supported the community, the latest calendar is hot off the press.
The third issue, which covers January to April, has already been requested by more than 100 companies.
Hundreds of would-be volunteers, registered with One Brighton and Hove, have also received a copy. It contains opportunities for individual volunteers, team events, mentoring, training dates and an update on the charity.
Director of the partnership Lynne Richards said it was easy and fun for companies and their employees to get involved and support the local community.
She added: "This is the UN Year of Volunteering, so why not sign your company up to One Brighton and Hove? As experts in employee volunteer-ing, we can make it really easy for staff to get involved."
Businesses wanting a copy of the calendar should contact Kelly Dibbert at the Business Community Partnership on 01273 770075 or email brighton@bitc.org.uk.
