Say what you like about the "sport" of wrestling. It may be all muscle-bound morons with a scary penchant for latex.

But huge TV ratings and an even bigger bank balance certainly soften the blow for the poor athletes who have to put up with the taunts.

The antics of the World Wrestling Federation's The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin and that bloke called Mr Ass are viewed by millions around the world. WWF Smack-down!2 is pumped up and ready to take on all comers on the PlayStation.

Exhibition bouts, a pay-per-view event and a full season are just for starters. You can also put your 50-plus grapplers through tag matches, a survivor series, Battle Royal, Royal Rumble, table and ladder contests, Hell in a Cell and even a casket match. Game play is far tighter and more focused than in the original game, with more responsive controls and faster action.

One annoying flaw is over-long loading times. You may have to stare at a static screen for minutes before you get down to the business.
