For three days recently I had terrible interference on my television picture. Am I the only person in Brighton to be suffering in this way?
Last Wednesday it was just ridiculous. No picture on BBC2, ITV or Channel 4. BBC1 was hazy and unwatchable.
I know the powers that be will say it's because of the high atmospheric pressure in this area at the moment. Oh, come on! Surely in this day and age we have some sort of technology that could sort this out. If not, don't we pay enough for our television licence fee to have investigations done into this sad state of affairs?
I'm fed up with seeing ghost pictures from French television. Why is their transmission seemingly so much stronger than ours? We can get pictures from space or the other side of the world but we don't seem to be able to get pictures from our own country.
It's about time this situation was sorted before we have a long, hot summer with high pressure every day. If it can't be sorted, can I ask for my television licence fee to be reduced?
