East Grinstead lI lost ground on leaders Havant in 2nd XI Premier League Division One after a 1-1 draw with second placed Eastcote.

Lewes II suffered a 1-0 defeat at home to Holcombe.

In Division Two, Chichester maintained top spot with a 5-3 win over third placed Canterbury Pilgrims thanks to goals from Colin French (two), Andrew Savory (two) and Pete Turner.

Tim Dodd scored twice as Horsham II drew 2-2 with Gore Court.

East Grinstead III maintained top spot in the Open Premier League Division One with a comfortable 5-0 win over Eastcote.

Lewes III triumphed 4-2 away to Winchester, while Horsham III crashed 8-0 at Fareham.

In Division Two, goals from James Whitehead, Clive Lerwall and Rob Atkin helped Chichester III to a 3-1 triumph at home to Canterbury V.

Bottom side Brighton III drew 1-1 with Staines.

Brighton II enjoyed a 4-1 win over Maidstone to maintain top spot in the 2nd XI Kent and Sussex Regional League. Goals came from John Child, Simon Warrender, Giles Stubbs and Rob Page.

Worthing II are third after beating Ashford 4-2 with goals from Stuart Steele, Jamie Mantell, Andy Gough and Mark Newson, while Crawley II triumphed 3-1 at Folkestone.

Mid Sussex II remain bottom despite an impressive 4-0 win over Old Bordenians. Goals came from Hart (two), Kirby and man-of-the-match Peter May.

In the Kent and Sussex Open League, Eastbourne III drew 1-1 with Tunbridge Wells, while East Grinstead III crashed 3-0 away to Canterbury 4A.

Andie Chambers scored twice for Worthing Ladies as they lost 4-3 in a friendly with Epsom.

Karen Anderson netted for Worthing III in a 1-0 win over Horsham III, while Paula Kerns got the consolation for the fourths as they lost 2-1 to Horsham IV.
