How I agree with M Berkeley (Opinion, February 19). Parking in Brighton is an absolute nightmare.

I am a pushchair user and have constant problems with cars parked on the pavement, some so far in it's impossible to get past with a pushchair.

I asked a traffic warden one day who I should get in touch with and was told to write to Tony Blair. Has he taken up the post of senior traffic warden in his spare time?

As I write, it is 2pm on a Tuesday and there are 16 cars parked illegally from Seven Dials to Montpelier Road and not a traffic warden in sight. They must all be at lunch.
