Two goals in the final 15 minutes rescued a point for Hastings Town as they drew 2-2 at Bashley in the Dr Martens eastern division.

Hastings were a goal down after only four minutes when a corner from the right was headed home by former Albion striker Phil Andrews.

Twelve minutes into the second half Bashley doubled their lead when Darren Robson fired home from close range.

The game should have been put beyond Hastings on 71 minutes when the home side were awarded a penalty, but Tony Kessell made a fine save to keep out Graeme Gee's spot kick.

On 76 minutes Danny Simmonds charged down a clearance from home keeper Geoff Sim and slotted into the empty net.

With five minutes to go Simmonds was brought down as he charged into the area and took the spot kick himself to level the scores.
