I am an ordinary mother who wishes to express disgust at the idea of drug addicts receiving first-class treatment to rid them of their habits (Voice Of The Argus, February 21).
I am one of the victims of society left with my own unsolved medical problems given to me at the hands of a violent drug abuser.
I have unstable epilepsy; my fits cannot be controlled by medication. I have been trying different drugs for two years so far. I fit without knowing I am going to in front of my children. I fit and am incontinent. No one has any idea how upsetting this can be for them.
I have been trying for two years to be moved to a house with fewer stairs.
All this upheaval is because I was beaten around the head too many times by a violent addict.
No one is rushing me off to a top clinic to find the right cure for me, then returning me to a new home suitable for my family in the city to live happily ever after.
Taxpayers' money would be better spent first clearing up the mess these people leave behind. Then worry about the gutters afterwards.
