A man accused of murdering one of Brighton's most infamous landlords will appear at the Old Bailey.
David Terence Croke, 58, of Bolney Road, Brighton, appeared at Bexley Magistrates Court in Kent yesterday in connection with the death of Mohammed Sabir Raja.
The case was transferred to the Old Bailey, where Croke will appear on March 8. He was remanded in custody.
Mr Raja gradually built up an empire letting out bedsits in Brighton after moving from Pakistan in the Sixties.
