Since you ask what we think (Opinion, February 27), we don't want purely local letters, news or stories. Far from it. Mrs K Martin's attitude is very parochial.
Some 90 per cent of people now in Brighton seem to be from elsewhere - you only have to listen to their talk in the streets. English is heard but rarely - or perhaps other voices are louder? They not only bring their cultural diversity, money and festival joys but also their rubbish and waste. The "great waste debate".
All good subjects for readers' letters.
