Areas of East Sussex downland have been reopened to the public after it was decided they were not at risk from foot-and-mouth disease.
Areas now open are the lower area of Whitbread Hollow, which is accessed from Foyle Way, and the area around the Belle Tout lighthouse on the seaward side of the road only.
This will link up with the opening of the National Trust land which is to the east of Birling Gap.
The Beachy Head Pub and Beachy Head Countryside Centre remain open to visitors.
Leader of Eastbourne Borough Council Graham Marsden said: "With Easter approaching and improving weather it is important that the council reopens areas of the Downs wherever possible."
The public is being asked to continue to co-operate and not to stray beyond zones that are open into restricted areas.
