Champagne and beer flowed as celebrations went on until the early hours after West Blatchington won the Sussex Sunday League Premier Divison.
They won for the first time with two victories over arch-rivals The Clifton in a double header.
The players and supporters of the Victoria Recreation Ground-based side flocked back to sponsor Peter Hodgson's Red Lion pub in Hove to celebrate 6-2 and 4-2 victories which saw the title clinched without them suffering a defeat all campaign.
Chairman Gary Wares said: "Alcoholics anonymous would have a field day with our lot.
"The celebrations went on way into the night. I finished about 11pm and a few of them carried on after that."
Delighted player-manager Simon Jones added: "We are well pleased. It was a bit of a needle match on Sunday against The Clifton as it was top versus second. They are always needle games with Clifton - more like rollerball than football - so it was especially nice to beat them twice and clinch the league there and then.
"I think we are the only side to win the Premier League without ever losing a game."
Two years ago West Blatchington, who started in 1995-96, were runners-up in the Premier to the Clifton so revenge was twice as sweet.
Wares said: "I think a few players were nervous before the game as we knew we needed to win both games to make sure of taking the title. Most of them were awake by 7am that morning."
Goals by Jones (2), Warren Bagnall (2), Junior Lamont and a 35-yarder from Wayne Pottbury clinched the points in the first game, while Junior Lamont nabbed all four in the second match.
Red Lion Landlord Hodgson said: "They are a great bunch of lads and I shall continue to sponsor them next year."
The team have already hit the headlines this season when Cameron Johnson scored 17 goals in a 33-0 defeat of Rottingdean Village which made the national newspapers and radio after being featured in Park Life.
