Toy Story Racer is a turbo-charged, remote-control dodgem racing game with plenty of weapons and opponents to enjoy.
The focus of this game is squarely on toys: Your armaments are toys, you drive a toy, you ARE a toy.
By completing each level you earn toy soldiers and by gaining enough soldiers, new levels are opened. You can choose to play any of the popular characters, which have voice samples from the films.
But you need to swap between characters to earn enough soldiers to move on.
Each level has a new objective such as race to win or smash the other toys before they smash you.
The courses are repeated quite often but the different goals keep it interesting.
Each level is harder than the next but never too hard to beat after a few goes.
Using the two-player game option, you can compete with each other, either racing or smashing, in single races or in tournaments, with computer opponents joining in to make things a little more interesting.
