Brent Werner's spectacular effort in Eagles' victory at Coventry is not a record.
The all-time highest score belongs to Gordon Kennett.
And his record will never be broken unless speedway changes to allow riders to take part in eight races in the same match.
Kennett scored a 21-point maximum from seven rides for Eagles in a Knockout Cup match at Swindon on May 31, 1980.
Amazingly, team-mate Kai Niemi scored 19 points ... and Eagles still lost 62-46!
Werner's 19, paid 20, match-winning display at Coventry equalled the performance of Peter Nahlin, who had an identical return on the same track for Eagles on August 22, 1992.
It was part of a high-flying weekend for Nahlin, who the next day roared to an 18-point maximum against Ipswich at Arlington. It meant he was beaten only once in 13 races.
Coventry is a happy hunting ground for Eastbourne riders.
Joe Screen scored an 18-point maximum there last season, his best return in Eagles' colours. And it was also the scene of Martin Dugard's sensational victory in last year's British Grand Prix.
