Sidlesham boss Ian Hillman is still aiming for a top six finish to the season which is bad news for title-chasing Sidley United who they meet twice.
Hillman said: "We want to finish as high as we can and believe we can attain a top six spot but we will need to dig deep as we are a bit thin on numbers at the moment.
"But we still have to play Pagham, Wick and Sidley twice and at least two of those sides are likely to be involved in the title chase.
"We won't be easing off and have players like Paul Masters and Calvin Hore in the side who want to do well and feel we have something to play for."
Hillman hopes to bring back in Simon Elley to bolster his defence in the remain-ing games but fears he could be without striker Steve Warwick for the rest of the season.
Hillman, whose side still have ten games remaining after today, said: "We lost him early in the game on Easter Monday against Chichester with twisted ankle ligaments and I think that could be him out for the season now."
Chichester are delighted they talked Roger Moore out of playing parks football.
The striker hit four goals in the 5-0 win at nearby Sidlesham on Monday to take his tally to 18 for the season at around a goal a game.
He has also hit 30 for Clanfield in the Portsmouth League.
Boss Adie Girdler said: "Roger was with us at the start of the season when we were struggling and he wasn't really enjoying it. He went back to parks football and scored a few goals but fortunately for us Joe Laidlaw has enticed him back."
Girdler is targeting a top four finish and admitted: "It's a shame we did not get this squad together earlier."
