A man has appeared before magistrates charged with murdering 42-year-old chef James O'Hagan.
Former painter and decorator Robert Vowles, 37, of Grand Parade, Brighton, spoke only to confirm his name and address during the hearing in Brighton.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court on May 2.
