Brighton's finals day at the 147 on May 20 will feature an Endeavour Handicap Trophy final between the home club's A and B teams.
In the semi-finals 147 B dismissed Division Six champions Marquess of Exeter, whose players received a 35 start each, in straight frames. This included a break of 57 by Simon Dent.
In the other semi-final 147 A had an equally emphatic win over Fire Brigade, all receiving 21 but who fell to a similar fate, highlighted by a Tony Strange 51.
In the over-50s semis Ray Hunter (Champion House) dismissed Alan Head (Annunciation) in straight frames and will now meet John Woollar (Annunciation) who beat Fred Lace (Brighton Legion) by two frames to one.
In the division three to six semis at Annunciation, Ray Guy (Bevendean) fell to Darren Welfare (Marquess of Exeter) in straight frames and Welfare will meet Rod Moogan (The Referees) who saw off Jim Collins (Champion House) 2-1.
In Worthing League Division A leaders New Central A and second placed Royal Mail A sat out byes. Third placed Durrington Social A beat Revenue A 3-2 thanks to Colin Nicholson, Martin Williams and Terry Brand. For Revenue John Winkley and Alex Stavrou were successful.
Division B leaders New Central B beat Shoreham A 4-1 with the consolation earned by Cliff Newnham.
The New Central winners were Simon Lawrence, Neil Morris, Adrian Croft and John Yeoman.
Second placed Goring A beat Storrington A 3-2 through Neil Kimmance, Tony Lane and Mick Greening. Dave Pratt and Reg Cross responded.
Third placed Durrington WMC A beat Southwick A 4-1 thanks to Bob Sadler, Pat Crowley, Colin Stanbridge and Mick Britton. Mick Roberts grabbed a consolation frame.
Division Two leaders Tennis B beat second placed Lancing Empire C 3-2 via Dave Eagle, Roger Waddeson and Mike Elliott. The responses came from Steve Bond and Culum Fitzpatrick.
Third placed Royal Mail C overcame Storrington B through Mark Deamer, Mick Roberts and Peter Cocoram. Pete Smart and Paul Cross replied.
Division D leaders Durrington Social B beat Durrington WMC D 4-1 with wins from Adam Wells, Mick Roberts, Peter Phillips and Gerry Morton. Brendan Campbell gained the consolation.
Second placed Shoreham B beat Durrington Social D 3-2 through John and Ron Liddle and Andy Stainsby. The responses came from Andy Stanford and Matt Bourner.
Q-Ball A won Division One of the Eastbourne League by three points from Dolphin A after the closest battle for years.
Promoted from Division Two are Fishermens A and B teams along with Eastbourne Consti-tutional B, who pipped Hail-sham Club D on countback of wins.
Hailsham Memorial Institute C took the Division Three title by one point from Dolphin C and also promoted are Topaz A.
Division Four was taken by Dolphin E with North Langney A second and Polegate Legion C third.
Railway A took Division Five and are promoted along with DPB A team and Hailsham Memorial Institute D.
The first of two presentation evenings is on Thursday when Hailsham MI C face North Langney for the John Hughes Cup at the Q-Ball followed by the presentations to divisions three, four and five.
James Loft, Ashley Trowell and Martin Geldart, from Hastings Rileys, travelled to Harrow Rileys and were all knocked out in the first round last Sunday.
But Loft and Trowell competed in the Plate final, which Loft won to pick up £100.
