While out driving the other day, I passed a field in which a number of horses were grazing.
Each horse had on a colourful coat and they made a lovely dash of colour.
It was almost as if I was watching a horses' fashion show - not like the old days, when brown was the only colour available when buying a new "coat" for an equestrian friend.
I was half expecting Jeff Banks or Selena Scott to appear at any moment with their comments on the latest "horsey fashions" now available.
I can imagine horse owners must have sleepless nights worrying over what colour coat would best suit their animals' colouring and whether or not the horse itself would be happy with the choice of colour.
It must be tough keeping up with the other horses in these fashion-conscious days.
