CRAWLEY Town sealed a 2-0 Premier Division victory at Merthyr Tydfil to end their away blues.
Reds had not won on their travels since October 28 but goals from strike duo Leroy Huggins and Mark Hynes polished off Merthyr early in the second half.
Reds manager Billy Smith said: "It's nice to get an away win at last."
Crawley were depleted with Danny Carroll reverting to central defence and boss Smith down to just the bare bones in his squad.
Hynes shot over on two minutes but a forgettable first half was quickly erased from the memory as Hynes set up Huggins to put Reds ahead in the 50th minute.
Substitute Nigel Brake provided the cross for the second goal eight minutes later as goalkeeper Steve Morris could only palm the ball to Hynes, who scored despite defender Andy Power's efforts on the goal line.
