Skies of Arcadia for the Dreamcast is an epic role-play game. The game's extensive two discs are set in a beautifully-created fairy tale world.

In essence, it is your job to stop the evil Valuan Empire from getting their hands on the six moon crystals that are used to power the feared Gigas, which will destroy the land.

The game's many characters live on islands and use sky-ships to travel from place to place.

As Vyse, you will journey through uncharted skies to discover new continents and explore mystical ruins.

During your voyage, you will wage battles against monsters, scores of pirates and a powerful enemy nation. The battle scenes in the game borrow many ideas from the Final Fantasy series (each player has one attack move per turn), however, there is the introduction of a spirit bar to bring a little more strategy to the game as it encourages you to think about your moves.

Skies of Arcadia delivers a masterfully animated cast of characters, monsters and villains, along with outstanding 3D graphic environments and a wonderfully scripted story line.
