My partner and I were very surprised at the criticism of the Thai Bycee restaurant (Ahead, April 25).
We have been to and recommended the restaurant on many occasions.
The service and food have always been excellent, to the point that we now leave the choice of dish to Peter, the owner.
We couldn't let Linsey Wynton's rather over-sensitive opinions on conversation, decor and the staffing levels of one of our favourite restaurants pass without comment.
I got the feeling Ms Wynton is impressed by pretentious menus to the extent she couldn't see the food for the P4, H3 and D7. (I might order that next time.)
Our friends were so stupefied, as were we, by these comments that we are planning an evening there soon.
